Sometimes people come to see me because something in their life simply isn’t working anymore, even if it’s hard to explain why.

You might feel lost lately without understanding what changed or find yourself overwhelmed by the political moment and struggling to hold onto hope.  Maybe you can’t stop obsessing about an ex even though things weren't working, or you’re trying to cut down on your drug use but finding it harder than you expected.

Some people come in to talk about identity and relationships: being out to friends but unsure how to come out to family, navigating polyamory and trying to balance multiple partners’ needs, or noticing that something about sex feels off but difficult to name.

Others come because life has shifted in more concrete ways. A death or loss that still feels heavy. A divorce or separation. The quiet panic of watching parents age. Living with chronic illness. Feeling uncomfortable in your body. Reaching a point in life where you feel like you’re supposed to have things figured out—but don’t.

Some people are beginning to think about starting a family and realizing they have no idea where to begin.  Some people are fighting with their partner over not wanting kids.

Whatever brings you here, therapy can offer a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re carrying, and begin to understand the patterns shaping your life
